Hernan Salamanco
Buenos Aires, 1974. Hernan Salamanco lives and works in Buenos Aires. He trained at the National School of Fine Arts “Prilidiano Pueyrredon” and at the Royale Academie de Beaux Arts in Belgium. In the ‘90’s he was a part of the group Ø zero barred. Salamanco obtained the National Grant of Support for Artistic Creation of the National Fund for the Arts in 2000. From 2002 to the present he has shown his work in galleries in Buenos Aires and San Pablo. In 2008, he won the 2nd LXII National Salon of Rosario and in 2010 he won the 1st Prize IV Salón Banco Central de la República Argentina and the 2nd Salón Banco de la Nación Argentina Prize. He has exhibited in museums and institutions including Museum of Contemporary Art, University of Chile, Fundación Telefónica de Argentina, MALBA, PROA Foundation, Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires, OSDE Foundation, Kirchner Cultural Center, Museum of Contemporary Art of Rosario, among others.
