Juan Manuel Rodríguez
Juan Manuel Rodríguez has a degree in Visual and Plastic Arts from the National School of Fine Arts, U. D. E. L. A. R., and studied in the workshops of Héctor Laborde, Contemporary Art Foundation and Carlos Capelán. His work takes up painting and drawing as strong cultural legacies in regards to art history, questioning production formats, drawings, paintings, sculptures or installations and the institutional role in the creation of contemporary art. His topics of interest are closely linked to his personal experiences, in public-private spaces.
