Nicolás Oks
Nicolás Oks was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on May 9, 1985. His artistic practice is mainly focused on installation and photography. He is an architect and graduated from the University of Buenos Aires. After finishing his architectural studies, he was selected to be part of the Artist Program at the Torcuato Di Tella University, where he takes courses with Jorge Macchi and Pablo Accinelli. He also does different courses and workshops with Matías Duville, Andrés Di Tella, Valeria González, Rodrigo Alonso, Silvia Schwarzbock, Mónica Girón, Diego Bianchi and Nicola Costantino, among other artists. His works have been shown in several exhibitions and fairs: Miranda Bosch Gallery (2018), CC Borges (2016), ArteBA (2017, 2015, 2012, 2010, 2009), Lima Photo (2014), Galería Zavaleta Lab (2013, 2010), Galería Praxis (2013), Espacio Vidriera Tienda MALBA (2011), Panorámica Galerie (2011), Galería Ernesto Catena Fotografía Contemporánea (2009, 2008), MARQ (2009, 2008), Museo Dr. Arturo Jauretche (2009), Palais de Glace (2009) y Museo Eduardo Sívori (2008). Nowadays he lives and works in Buenos Aires, where he is represented by Miranda Bosch Gallery.
