Rita Fischer
Rita Fischer was born in 1972 in Young, lived and worked in Paris and Berlin between 2000 and 2012, and currently lives in Montevideo. Her artistic practice is linked to the loss of referential frames, uncertainty and alienation, through painting and painting in space. She has exhibited across the globe and received multiple awards and recognition. Since 2013, she has been a member of the CasaMario Project, an autonomous management project for the development of collective research and production in artistic and social practices.
