Photographic Development Mobile Lab Workshop
In the mobile laboratory of Fede Ruiz Santesteban (Espacio Hiedra) we will experiment with camera-less photography processes and other experimental photographic development techniques. A participatory activity in which we will work with alternative processes developed by the artist free of dichromates, cyanides and silver nitrate. Emulsions toned with black earth, beet, red wine and other natural pigments will be the center of this proposal in which we will enjoy the magic of “revelation.”
ABOUT Fede Ruiz Santesteban
Photographer and architect. Director of the Espacio Hiedra cultural center. For more than ten years, his work has focused on research into alternative photographic processes. Guiding his explorations towards sustainable, low-cost strategies linked to his environment. His work has been awarded in Uruguay, Argentina and the US. He has exhibited in galleries in Uruguay, Argentina, Peru, Cuba, USA, Spain, Portugal, Ecuador, Austria and Angola. Two of his projects have been declared of Cultural Interest by the MEC.
