IKIGAI

Ikigai reminds us that each act counts, builds and constructs meaning. This performance project’s basic purpose is to broaden the understandings proposed by the Japanese disciplines of Noh Theatre and a practice of Aikido called Goro Goro. We explore the critical tension between animism and choreography, seeking to generate bridges that may broaden the notion of field of movement and the links between reality and perception.
