Sign Language Workshop with Natural Instruments.
Directed by Santiago Vazquez, participants will form a musical group using various objects collected in the natural environment as instruments. They will coordinate using Sign Language, created by Vazquez in 2005 and used by his groups Ñu, La Bomba de Tiempo, La Grande and by thousands of musicians, educators and therapists in more than 35 countries.
Mbira Concert.
Santiago Vazquez will offer a concert of traditional and original music for the mbira dzavadzimu. This is the sacred instrument of the Shona ethnic group of Zimbabwe. Its music, both sweet and powerful, is used in rituals to convince the spirits of the ancestors.

Eileen is a Cuban composer and singer who has been living in Uruguay since 2018. Her first album "Mercedes", released this year, covers her entire musical journey to date.

Dr. Daniel Chavez is a Uruguayan activist, researcher, visual anthropologist and political economist based in the Netherlands.
Guardians of Seeds, land and life is a photo documentary exhibition that offers a unique insight into the work of the Rural Women's Assembly (South Africa) in preserving seeds in harmony with nature. It tells stories of endurance, resilience, struggles for land, and the role rural women play in maintaining our food systems. More info about the project

For eight years, AnguZ has been the musical project led by Germán Bello, a composer and multi-instrumentalist. For this occasion, all the songs were adapted to a minimalist and acoustic version for piano and voice.

Lawyer Valeria España talks with CAF 8 artists Arlene Correa Valencia and Cassandra Mayela Allena on migration. At program A point on the map.
Valería España is a lawyer and columnist. She has worked as an external consultant for various international organizations such as the Institute of Public Policies and Human Rights of Mercosur, the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
READING (45 minutes): American author, poet and social activist Margaret Randall. Randall lived in Latin America (Mexico, Cuba, and Nicaragua) for 23 years, returning to the United States in 1984.
