UN ALTO EN EL CAMPO

This installation consists of four pieces that explore how we perceive and relate to our environment through the culture of the materials that compose it. In the space where the lives of plants, animals, minerals and people intersect, the history of the migrations that have marked the territory of Garzón, both near and far, unfolds. Through these elements, the artist weaves a relationship that not only speaks of the history of the town and its surrounding countryside, but also invites us to reflect on our condition as beings in constant relationship and dependence on the world around us. The pieces – a grassland carpet, a story repeater, a container from the quarries, and a small collection of bones – are elements that connect us with this field of expansive relationships, revealing the interconnection between all the beings and materials that coexist in this landscape.
