UNDER THE SKIN

Juxtaposition, opposition and repetition
I work with diverse media as a tool for translating my stream of perception. 'Under the Skin' is an investigation of the diaspora, referencing Ursula K. Le Guin’s 1974 science fiction novel 'The Dispossessed'. This house represents the level of perception in the notion of diaspora: migration and movement. By connecting lights and spaces through layers of paper, leather, and stone, the installation conveys a sense of conception. In order to let the house reveal itself, I attempt to dialogue with the site by physical convergence.
