Niceaunties

Singapore-based artist and designer Niceaunties draws inspiration from Aunty culture and the influential women in her family to explore themes of aging, beauty and personal freedom through AI art. Her architectural training influences the conceptual structure of her works, while her focus on the nuanced behaviors of the 'aunties' highlights Asian culture. Influenced by surrealism, fantasy and kawaii culture, her art encourages empowerment and self-expression. She has exhibited globally at events such as Art Basel and PhotoVogue, as well as giving a TED talk in Vancouver. As a Fellowship artist, his AI videos are featured on daily.xyz, and he participated in Christie's 'Creating Connections' charity auction in 2023. His work has been featured in Forbes, the Business Times, and on the cover of Telescope Magazine.

VISITOR

Niceaunties arrive in Garzón for the first time, sharing their impressions of the pueblo in a layered exploration of new culture, place, alienation, homesickness, and the urge to escape. This installation, inspired by the theme UN/settled: Migration + Movement, reflects the unique perspective of a digital creator visiting the continent for the very first time, weaving personal narratives into broader reflections on belonging and discovery.
